Tygh was our essay contest winner and we feel confident that he will be able to increase the reach and effectiveness of this safe and anonymous action movement and help it realize its fullest potential. For months now, he has been passionately representing TEP, simply because he believes in its mission to increase compassionate awareness of the harmless presence, in everyday life, of ALL Trans and GNC individuals and their friends/family/allies, in a safe way. I cannot say enough about his incredible fire and I cannot express enough gratitude for his commitment and for his selfless efforts to get people excited about participating.
In his essay, he put forth sound, reasonable, and yet bold ideas re: "what next" for this action movement. Ideas that have me excited to watch how it will all come about. I will let him tell you about that.
Not only does he have a great vision for what is possible for the TEP, Tygh has been a tireless advocate for the Trans community since beginning his own transition: he is consistent in showing up time and again ~ sharing his own story and experiences; connecting people and building community. Check out his personal vlog and the various trans-masculine projects that he has founded and/or participates in, on youtube:

Over the next couple of weeks, we will be transferring to Tygh the "necessaries": the TEP website, blog, email account, card designs, etc, and today we make him the admin for this Page. We confidently hand over the stewardship of The Transgender Encounter Project to him, knowing that the movement is in very good hands.
Please do give him a warm welcome.
Thank you for all that you are and all that you do, brother!
