They designed their own fabulous cards (below) and are beginning to leave them around. I am impressed by the time and energy and care that went into crafting these cards and am thrilled to know that the action movement is “heels” and “boots” ON THE GROUND!!
This was their testimony:
“After many hours of designing, I’m very proud to introduce my contribution to The Transgender Encounter Project! This is a pic of the front and back of the cards I made. I’ve decided that being an enby qualifies me to pass these out and I get a little thrill out of the idea that most people will assume i have a penis, which should do well to change perceptions of ‘what trans looks like’. ” YES!!
Yes, it was a Transgender Encounter Project card drop!!
“Omg, these people are bending over backwards for us. They keep apologizing for taking so long, offering us drinks and free dessert. I think they’re trying to demonstrate that they are non discriminatory. Best service ever!”
They said they got a huge thumbs up from the cashier at Walmart, too.
This news, coming in tonight, put a huge smile on my face! Hopefully it is inspiring for others, as well.
Please share your stories with us, of leaving or receiving these cards!
